Organizers of the International Powder and Bulk Solids Conference & Exhibition (iPBS) recently announced that the event will be rescheduled to 2021.
For more than four decades, members of the powder and bulk solids processing community have gathered in Rosemont, Illinois — just outside of Chicago — to share ideas, innovations and products.
The biennial International Powder & Bulk Solids Conference & Exhibition — commonly known as The Powder Show — welcomes more than 3,000 industry professionals and more than 425 suppliers at North America's largest powder and bulk solids technology event.
The Powder Show will now take place April 27–29, 2021 at the same location — the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
Informa Markets – Engineering officials said they made the decision to reschedule in light of the growing concern surrounding COVID-19, and in accordance with the guidance of the State of Illinois. For 2020, the event will shift to a digital format.
“We appreciate the unwavering support of our key partner, Process Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (PEMA), who have worked with us to come to this decision. The health and safety of our event community is our highest priority,” Informa officials wrote in an online statement. “We know how important it is for our event community to stay informed and connected, especially in a time when budgets, and even the freedom of movement, are constrained. This is why we are thrilled to announce the launch of The Powder Show Digital Flow, a potent blend of education, product demonstrations, and virtual networking opportunities to help you continue to grow your business. Our first digital day is set for Oct. 1.”
Attendees who registered before the announcement of the rescheduling will have their registration moved to the new dates.
Organizers of the show say they will post updates on their website, https://www.powderandbulkshow.com, as soon as they become available. For more information, please visit our COVID-19 Frequently Asked Questions page.
