This heavy-duty Bulk Bag Filling System receives abrasives, high-density solids and other difficult-to-handle bulk materials from upstream processes or storage vessels and fills the material by weight into bulk bags. Intended for demanding industrial applications, the system is comprised of heavy-gauge variants of the company's patented TWIN-CENTERPOST filler and a FLEXICON flexible screw conveyor consolidated on a robust skid with integral forklifting tubes for mobility. The filler is equipped with fill head height adjustment to accommodate all popular bag sizes, pneumatically retractable bag hooks and an inflatable connector to seal the bag inlet spout.

2 | TWIN BULK BAG UNLOADER

Overcome time lost through bag changes with a twin bulk bag unloader with a common discharge hopper. The Volkmann twin BBU optimizes dust-free material flow from the bag to the vacuum conveyor and downstream processes using advanced features to tailor the level of dust containment to the application. It allows no contamination of the material or work environment. Each 2-ton capacity Volkmann BBU has been designed with modular components and many optional features to meet a variety of production requirements. It features a low-profile pick-up and can be customized with frame extension sets and electric hoists with passive or active traverse mechanisms.

3 | BLISTER PACKAGING MACHINE

Ideal for packaging development, materials testing and production, the EAGLE-Omni blister machine performs forming, sealing and punching operations at sequential stations. Measuring just over two meters in length and 1.6 meters tall, the EAGLE-Omni offers a format area of 150x95 mm, and a forming depth of 30mm with an upgrade available to 40mm. The machine handles a wide range of forming materials — including PVC, PVDC, ACLAR, PP, PET and ALU — and all typical lidding substrates including ALU, paper, PVC, PET and laminates. The EAGLE-Omni can produce up to 20 blisters per minute, and is suitable for packaging solids, powders and liquids.

The Model 821 Unloader provides a safe, dust-tight and highly effective means for discharging a wide assortment of dry solid materials from within various size bulk bags. In operation, positive product discharge is reliably achieved by means of regulated vibration uniformly applied to the body of the Model 821 Unloader, and in turn to the bulk bag. The vibratory action is produced by an adjustable heavy-duty motorized vibrator, powered by a TENV (AC) motor. When energized, powerful flow-inducing vibratory forces transfer from the body of the unloader into the bag and the material contained within, effectively and efficiently discharging its contents.
