K-State Olathe announces 2025 advanced manufacturing and bulk solids short courses

Industry-focused courses blend theory and practical, hands-on learning at the new Advanced Manufacturing and Bulk Solids Technology Center location near Kansas City.
Kansas State University’s Olathe campus near Kansas City will host several short courses on pneumatic conveying as well as courses on dust collection and PLC systems in 2025. The classes will be held in person at the new Advanced Manufacturing and Bulk Solids Technology Center in Olathe, near Kansas City, and will combine classroom instruction with practical hands-on learning with real equipment and systems. The scheduled courses are:
Basics of Pneumatic Conveying (April 8-9)
Advanced Pneumatic Conveying (June 10-12)
Programmable Logic Controller and Automation (August 26-27)
Dust Collection Fundamentals and System Design (October 7-9)
Basics of Pneumatic Conveying (December 2-3)
K-State also offers customized classes to meet companies’ specific training needs in a range of bulk solids topics. These can be held at K-State Olathe or onsite at the company’s location. Online and video options also are available.
