Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC) has launched the Gold Series III dust collector, the latest iteration of its flagship Gold Series line. The new collector incorporates design enhancements that improve performance, reduce energy consumption, and simplify maintenance.

The Gold Series III features OptiCone filter cartridges with OmniPleat filter media, which maximize filtration efficiency. The cartridges use open-bottom inner cones to expand usable surface area, ensuring that pulsed air is evenly distributed for more effective cleaning. OmniPleat media packs use synthetic glue beads to hold pleats open, exposing the full surface to airflow for better pollutant capture, longer filter life, and fewer replacements.

An advanced baffle configuration directs particles evenly across the unit while separating larger particles into the hopper, further extending filter lifespan. The collector’s modular vertical filter design allows for flexible installation and upgrades, with each module housing four filters capable of handling up to 6,000 cubic feet per minute of airflow. This modularity enables a wide range of configurations to match specific site requirements.

Gold Series III dust collectors meet or exceed OSHA air quality standards and, when equipped with explosion protection features such as explosion vents, integrated safety monitoring filters, and Stinger isolation valves, provide protection compliant with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and European Union ATEX standards.

“The Gold Series III sets a new benchmark in dust collection technology,” said Randi Huckaby, Product Manager – Dry Filtration APC Engineer, Research & Development at Camfil APC. “It delivers cleaner air, safer workplaces and greater operational savings to meet the demands of today’s toughest industrial environments.”
