Mike Zeluff is a seasoned professional with nearly 30 years of experience at Hapman, where he has honed his expertise in material handling and product solutions. Mike has built a distinguished career that spans several pivotal roles within the company. Before stepping into his current role as a Product Specialist, he served as a Regional Sales Manager and led the Hapman Test Lab, where he played a critical role in material testing and flow dynamics analysis. Mike's deep industry knowledge and dedication have made him an invaluable asset to the Hapman team.
Todd Smith | Business and Strategy Manager | Kansas State University - Bulk Solids Technology Center
Todd Smith is Business and Strategy Manager of Kansas State University’s Bulk Solids Technology Center. KSU-BSTC, a partnership of industry, university, and government, is the only university-based Bulk Solids research center in the Americas. Todd spent 35 years in the bulk solids industry, first at DuPont, then as Engineering Manager at MAC Equipment (now Coperion) and then General Manager of Coperion K-Tron Salina and vice president of the company’s Global Systems Group. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Kansas State University and earned his M.B.A in 1998. He has authored one book, as well as many magazine articles and technical papers. Todd’s Board of Director experience includes president of the KSU Dean’s Advisory Council, Process Equipment Manufacturer’s Association, Salina Area Technical College, Salina Chamber of Commerce, Salina Regional Health Foundation, Salina Municipal Band, and Salina Soccer Club.
Herman Purutyan | CEO | Jenike & Johnson
Herman Purutyan is CEO of Jenike & Johanson. He joined the company in 1991. He has designed reliable handling systems for a wide range of materials for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Herman has published numerous papers on the storage and flow of bulk solids and has been awarded several US patents. He lectures frequently on solids handling and pneumatic conveying, through the ASME/AIChE Continuing Education Program and to individual companies. He was an active member of ASME Structures for Bulk Solids Committee, which is tasked with developing a new, comprehensive silo design standard. Herman received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Massachusetts, and his MBA from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts
