In this whitepaper, we look at an Energy Center where biological buildup within the condenser was greatly affecting the efficiency to produce steam, hence less mechanical power.

An Energy Center located in Orlando, FL is injecting 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite (250 – 300 GPD) into reuse water to prevent biological build-up within the water tubes of the condenser. Any build-up within the condenser would greatly reduce the efficiency to produce steam, resulting in less mechanical power. The goal was to find the best chemical metering pump to dose gas-forming chemical.
