    The mixer’s inlet and outlet (shown) remain stationary while the drum rotates, allowing hard connections to upstream mechanical or pneumatic conveyors and continuous mixing as material is discharged.

    Milk, melted chocolate, chopped almonds and other ingredients are mixed in this Gericke continuous mixer. Each ingredient needs to be fed into the mixer at the predetermined temperature, moisture content and bulk density to ensure a consistently homogeneous mix.

    Drums containing each ingredient are lifted, aligned with the mixer's stationary inlet and emptied in a prescribed order according to the master batch record.
